Frequently Asked Questions
We currently operate as virtual company but hope to have offices in the near future. If you need to send us snail mail, you may send it to the following address:

Our inclusive membership is open to anyone who wants to be part of a dynamic community of women entrepreneurs. We understand that you may still be in the idea phase or even a student. We welcome you as a member and would like to support you through your journey in starting and growing a business.
We do not offer exclusivity because we do not believe in competition since every business operates in their own unique way and there is always plenty of business to go around. We assure you competition should not be a concern because our community is built around abundance, and we encourage our members to collaborate, not compete.
We assure you that is not a problem since we are providing a safe and comfortable space for everyone. In fact, Mirna Bard (WE-OC Founder) is a shy introvert who thrives in business. She is an INFJ just like Oprah, and she believes if Oprah can do it, she can do it also (haha!). Let us do this together!
Your role as a member is to be beautiful you. We encourage you to build genuine relationships, attend events, step up to host circles, and open the space for others to be celebrated and supported by you (and vice versa).
We want you to succeed and will provide you with the opportunities to get the most out of your membership. The question is: Are you willing to grab those opportunities?
The benefits of becoming a member are numerous. We provide you with the community, support, and resources for you to succeed in life and business. We encourage you to set some goals and do what it takes to get the most out of your membership. After all, any community you join is what you make of it, right?
You may learn more about WE-OC membership benefits here.
Our membership is open to women (and supportive men). Since we are a community with diverse backgrounds (knowledge, beliefs, thoughts, experiences, ideas, careers, race, age, religion, etc.) as well as various sectors and stages of business, you will qualify to become a member.
The only thing we ask is that you align with and support our Mission, Vision, and Core Values. You may review them here before you join.
To get the most out of this vibrant community, membership is encouraged. Our non-members do not get the benefits that our members do. For example, many of our events are open to non-members with a fee. Members receive discounts to our events, or they are able to attend at no charge. You may learn more about the membership offers here.
You may sign up to become a member here.
Memberships are auto-renewed annually, unless canceled or terminated. You will also receive an email notification several weeks before your membership is renewed every year.
All memberships are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
Once you join WE-OC, you will receive emails to welcome you and prompt you to create an account on our website. You will also receive emails from our founder with information on how to get the most out of your membership. We will also invite and encourage you to attend our monthly WE-OC Orientation to learn more about membership.
Most of our events are open to non-members with a fee. Non-members may attend a couple of events, before deciding to become a member. If it is a member-only event, you will be able to see that on the registration page of the individual event.
Our business directory is available to give exposure to our members and to make it easier to find women-owned businesses and services.
Once you become a member, you will be prompted to create a profile on the WE-OC website. If you do not want to be listed in the public directory, you may create a website profile to have access to the community; however, you are not required to create a public directory listing. This is completely up to you.
